During numeracy, we have been recapping 1p and 2p coins and even learned how to play money bingo which the children loved! We had to work together to count the coins, then grab the right card when an amount was called out. The best part was getting to call out 'BINGO!' when they had all the coins covered. We have also been learning about collecting data and how to create a block graph and pictogram. We collected all the data (tricky words we have learned) and created a block graph. We also practiced numbers before, after and in-between to help us with out counting. Reception have been learning all about 2d shapes, practicing cutting skills and what looking at what materials we would need to build a rocket. The rockets were then tested out in our water tray to see if the materials would float or sink.
